COOLING

The cooling system regulates the engine from overheating.  If it were left unregulated it would quickly cause the engine melt.  The cooling system, which consists mainly of a radiator, thermostat, water pump and a series of hoses that connect these parts to internal engine passageways that the cooling fluid runs through.   If any of these parts malfunction it could spell disaster for the vehicle's engine. 

Preventing an overheating problem is always less expensive than paying for the parts and labor necessary to repair or replace faulty or worn-out components.  Driving your vehicle when experiencing these signs could lead to a damage engine.  Should you find yourself in an overheating situation pull over right away to protect your engine.  Don't be alarmed if your car shuts off and won't start.  This happens when the car gets to hot as to protect itself many vehicles are designed to shut the engine down to protect it from a cascade of damages.
